Summit Investment Australia P/L (SIA) is involved in the investment and management of motor businesses across Australia. It also has interests in a fleet leasing company known as Summit Auto Lease Australia P/L (SALA). SIA is a subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation. SIA is owned 80% by Sumitomo Japan and 20% by Sumitomo Australia Ltd. Sumitomo Corporation is a large Japanese multinational company with extensive motor industry experience. Sumitomo Corporation not only conducts commodity transactions in all industries utilizing worldwide networks, but also provides related customers with various financing, serves as an organizer and a coordinator for various projects, and invests in businesses from the information industry to the retailing industry.
